Dr. Roxana Leija
Optometrist & FounderI grew up in the small west Texas town of Sterling City. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University where I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. I then went on to complete my Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston. During that time, I did a rotation at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I gained experience in providing geriatric eye care and managing eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. I spent a few years practicing in Burnet, TX where I further expanded my scope of practice to pediatrics and general family eye care. In 2015, I moved to Lakeway with my husband Jarrett Sweet and we are now proud parents of 3 boys (Sterling, Drexler, &Evander) and a dog named Moses. Starting my own practice has been a lifelong goal and I am excited to share my growth as an eye care practitioner with the families of Lakeway and surrounding communities.
